The main characteristic of this meme is to capture a moment when a person in a video is rolling, jumping, or falling, and then superimpose that person as if they are floating or flying through vast spaces like outer space or the ocean. Recently in South Korea, the 'Mufasa Around the World' version has gained significant popularity, being consumed with the meaning of 'videos that give you strength when you're feeling down.'

It primarily gained popularity among younger generations who actively use online platforms such as internet communities, YouTube, and Reddit. Especially during its resurgence in 2024, it is consumed by a broad age range, from teenagers to those in their thirties, and by both men and women, particularly among users who enjoy short-form content.
